At Web Contempo, we use the most cutting edge technology to create websites. We start by creating a custom web design in Adobe Photoshop CS2 or Macromedia Fireworks. Once the design has been approved we will manually migrate the design into Macromedia Dreamweaver for development where we have a variety of technology available to create your site.

When developing the site we make sure that it passes W3C XHTML Standards. XHTML is a combination of HTML and XML. Its purpose is to tell a web browser how to display a web page. It is important in this day and age because of the diverse way people browse the internet. One of the most important technologies we use is CSS or Cascading Style Sheets. Style Sheets are external files that define how elements on your page are displayed. CSS is an amazing web site development technology because it allows the web developer to control the style and layout of multiple pages on a website on one external style sheet. CSS Development is a relatively new technology and is not as well known among developers as traditional HTML Layout methods. A Server Technology is also an important part of web development. There are a variety of options available, and we are capable of using any, but our preffered choices are ASP and PHP. We prefer to use these two languages because they are very well know, and there are a variety of affordable 3rd Party Plugins available, which can ultimately save you money. When incorporating things like Content Management Systems, Shopping Carts, Message Boards, or other similar applications into your site, we can most often find a 3rd Party application for a reasonable price, or sometimes free that will "Plug In" to your site and then we can customize it. This takes considerably less time than creating a custom application for one site, and most importantly keeps everyone's costs down.
