thank you so much!! I’ve been looking for a theme for my amazon sites for quite some time now..not quite sure how I missed this one..thx again.
Glad you think it will work for you. I’m also hoping that it will work as well with Amazon as it does with Ebay.
Thank you for creating this theme – I really like it! I’ve installed it on my Amazon affiliate site. There are some things I want to change up, but haven’t figured out how to do yet. (1) I want my categories appear in the bar below the header where my pages are; (2) I want to add the featured posts gallery like you have on your laptop batteries site; and (3) I want to remove the ‘Recent Entries’ widget and use that space for a banner ad.
Hi,
Just replace the recent entries widget with regular text widget, then add the banner code. To list categories instead of pages, you can try < ?php wp_list_categories( $args ); ?> in theader in place of the list_pages code. To add the featured content gallery, just install the plugin and follow the setup instructions. The theme is already set up for a seamless integration.
I’ve installed PHPZon, but don’t see any instructions for integration and there is no featured post thing. What am I missing?
What are you using to embed that video in the sidebar? I’m a newbie and my attempts to replicate that with TubePress are failing miserably.
Hi Jake,
All I do is add a blank text widget to the sidebar where you want the video to appear, then copy the embed code from youtube and paste it right in. I believe you can configure the size of the video on YouTube before copying the embed code so that you can get it to a size that will work for that area.
